Description
The Holy Grail, the wish-granting treasure coveted by all who enter in the multitude of Holy Grail Wars across many Worlds. Into whose hands will it fall into this time?

A strategy-focused board game based off the TYPEMOON Fate Series. Originally named Fate/Apocrypha Chess, but since I have expanded it to be able to host any Grail War possible, a name change was in order.

The Great Holy Grail War. Two Factions of seven Masters and seven Servants each work together in order to claim the Holy Grail. For themselves or for their Faction, only they who fight know the answer. Playable with either 2 Players, each controlling all Units in one Faction; or played with 14 Players, each controlling their own Master-Servant pair.

The Traditional Holy Grail War. Seven pairs of Masters and Servants do battle with each other until only one is left standing.

The Snowfield Holy Grail War. The war starts with six pairs of 'False' Masters and Servants, whose true purpose is to prepare the ritual for the arrival of the seven 'True' Master-Servant pairs who fight for the True Grail. However, that does not mean that one of the False is unable to claim the final victory.

The Grand Order Holy Grail War. A team of Masters and Servants are deployed by CHALDEA to correct a Singularity and restore order to the future of the World. But the Keeper of the Holy Grail will not let them have their way easily.

The Ainsworth Holy Grail War. A unique Holy Grail War by usual standards. Instead of Masters summoning Servants, seven Masters will make use of their obtained Class Cards, each representing a Heroic Spirit, and do direct battle with each other, until all seven Class Cards have been collected by the victor.

The Moon Cell Holy Grail War. A Holy Grail War that takes place in the crystalline supercomputer within the Moon, a great number of Master-Servant pairs will continuously battle each other in an elimination tournament format, until only one pair is decidely victorious.

In all of these Holy Grail Wars, the ever-looming presence of the Overseer keeps watch over the proceedings. But that doesn't mean the Overseer just sits there and twiddles his thumbs, no. There are a variety of Random Events that can be triggered, and many are already included within. Throw the battlefield into chaos with your unexpected entrances!

Thanks for being a subscriber, or even visiting, I appreciate that someone actually took the time to even give this a look.

Update 22nd Nov 2017
-Added 12 new Random Events
-Fixed more things in the Notebook, as usual

Update 5th Dec 2017
-More Notebook Fixes
-Added 6 new Random Events
(I can now finally say this)
-Featuring Dante from Devil May Cry

Update 23th April 2018
-Added a Large Board to the game, the Large Board is twice as large as the original game board (Large Board is 25x25, original is 13x13), which allows for more space to run away from Noble Phantasms
-Now that TTS supports more than 10 players, added recommended rules on the Google Doc Rulebook on how to play this Game in 7(8) Player Mode (aka original Holy Grail War style), and 14(15) Player Mode (which is Apocrypha style, but every Servant-Master pair is controlled by a different player).

Update 14th June 2018
-Added proper Rulebooks for every game mode, deleted old Rulebook

Update 03-03-2019
TTS has updated Fog of War which has fixed the aforementioned problems! Now both Detect and Fog of War can be used in Fate/Grail Game! I have also again, deleted the old Rulebook, and instead only left summaries of the more important parts, such as for Combat. You should refer to Google Docs for the full Rules.

09-07-2019

05-08-2019
-Overhauled how Items work, given them Categories

27-04-2020

30-07-2021
-It's been 15 months since the last update huh
-Once again, rewritten a ton of text in the Rulebooks
-We're up to Random Event #102 now

20-07-2022
-Oh wow almost an exact year since last update
-Replaced all generic Masters and Servants with improved figurines

The Advanced version of the game, which is played using the actual Servants of the TYPEMOON series instead of generic, bare-bones versions of the seven Servant Classes can be found here: https://steamproxy.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1235694944

(New) Made a Discord, any issues too long to be dealt with in comments can be directed here- https://discord.gg/yYc9QHbtVS

Have some steep learning curve on first entry, but soon it became easy to play with how intuitive and almost universal the rulings were. Fate lovers will have a fateful time with this.
