Description

This mod makes those wonderful cave mushrooms Glowstool, Agarilux and Timbershroom (Requires Ideology) into plantable crops. I've tweaked the growth days and yield to make them more sensible making them into the perfect mountain base crop (plantable soil not included). Using potatoes as a rough guide I did some basic calculations to get a decent grow length and yield.

Glowstool
- Grow Days 8.3
- Yield 16
- Can grow in Hydroponics

Agarilux
- Grow Days 14.5
- Yield 28

Timbershroom
- No Changes to Growth/Yield

This mod is included in [FSF] FrozenSnowFox Tweaks.

[FSF] Simply Soil
Another one of my mods Simply Soil allows you to easily place soil inside mountains on rocky ground and on other surfaces so you can grow crops anywhere.

I think the grow times were not updated.

I tried tweaks pack, and nothing changed. I used developer mode to look at the plant category. It says Timbershroom can't be planted. I also deleted the settings folder to make sure that nothing would interfere with the mod. This is my last attempt to make this mushroom plantable, from now on I will not bother with it anymore, at least if no more problems arise. Thank you for your attention

If you're using files from github I honestly don't know what the issue could be especially if running it without any other mods also has the problem. The only changes made by the patch are to allow it to be planted under roofs and so it can be planted even if the timbershroom isn't native to the biome. The mod itself is included in my tweaks pack so you could try running it from that and see if that works. It's the exact same patch though so outside of the files being outdated somehow it shouldn't make a difference.

I tried everything I could think of. I deleted the game, used the files from GitHub, and enabled only this mod. While playing, I had an unlocked Tree Sowing Tech and Mountain roof in cave.I only use 2 dlc, Royalty and Biotech.

- Why isn't it possible?
- It's just not.
- Why not, you stupid Mushroom?

I double checked the file, checked in game and it works fine for me. Everything is already set and working even without Ideology. Either steam has given you an outdated copy of the mod or you haven't researched Tree Sowing which is required for Timbershrooms. If its the former you can grab an up to date copy of the mod from github using the link included in the description.

Hi, I'm playing without the Ideology expansion and can't grow Timbershroom . Even though they're currently included in the core. Can you add that option in the base game please?

Well it could be a little while. People keep giving me more work to do and I still want to play the game.

Looking forwards to grow the boomshrooms, they are pretty and you can make a very magical town in the glowforest with them as lighting

Looks like there's a couple non growable mushroom types. I'll put it on my to do list.

Would it be possible to add growable Boomshrooms or is that alr in base game?

@DeathGun
There's two types of mushrooms with the dlcs the normal ones that require light and these which are plantable with this mod that require darkness.
