Description
OBOW: Pronounced "oboe" (yes, like the instrument), it stands for "Overseer's Balance Overhaul for Weapons".

This is a script that changes the Desert Eagle into a Taurus Raging Judge 5-round shotgun revolver. It is recommended to use a Raging Judge-type weapon replacer on the Workshop, or something similar. Just like the real-world weapon, it fires .410 shotgun shells, which scatter five pellets in a narrow-ish spread. It's highly unusual, but can be a lot of fun to use.

Here's the complete list of stat changes:

Damage = Damage done per pellet or damage done in total if they all hit? I'm going to figure it's the latter.

Based on what I remember with hikov45 when he fired this thing. It spews out pellets similar to a .22 birdshot round. The spread is massive.

I was hoping that this was gonna have like maybe 12 damage per pellet but fire out 20 pellets and just have a wide spread. So it would be very unique as a secondary because it would be really useful for hordes because it's essentially an infite semi-auto shotgun that can hit many things at once.

Wow I don't know why I didn't try this sooner, this is extremely cool and unique but feels balanced at the same time. Would be really cool to see an SMG secondary at some point too. This alone feels like it opens so many more options for 2 weapon variety. Like combining an assault rifle with a pocket shotgun for range vs. close quarters. I love using the hunting rifle the most, and having an SMG to complement that would be amazing.

@matcole71: Yes, the script is fully functional. But thanks for the confirmation anyway. :)

Yeah, I know that issue. When you first reach the main menu after game launch, it seems you can switch your scripts around without a problem. But after you've been in a match, switching scripts doesn't seem to work until a restart.

I figured it out, i just need to restart the game after changing what scripts i have active. Also probably doesn't help that i have roughly 30 weapon scripts lol.

Shooting one bullet? As in, only one shotgun pellet per shot?

I just downloaded this script, yet in game its only shooting 1 bullet, or atleast is appearing to do so. Any ideas as to why?
