Enjoy epic chases and heart in your throat moments with the new mini-game Ghostbusters!

Team red are ghosts, trying to kill all but three of the innocent creeps around the map within 5 minutes. Team blue are the ghostbusters, who are invincible, trying to catch the ghosts in the act! And if any ghost is killed, they become a ghostbuster themselves!

Turrets on either side of the map guard the shops which both teams can use but the ghosts must kill the blue turret to gain access. The ghosts can also kill the solar bosses to give powerful team-wide debuffs to the ghostbusters -- silence for 45 seconds on one side and blindness for 30 seconds on the other. Although the ghosts only become visible when using abilities or attacking creeps, the ghostbusters can still track them down while they are invisible with slightly more speed and various hints around the map. Disappearing solar or health packs is a dead giveaway for lurking ghosts, as well as buttons being pressed in the middle of the map. Also, with sounds turned up, ghosts entering through portals become blaring alarms and even nearby footsteps can be clues. Hunt down ghosts with any crowd control effect, damage over time, or abilities like Cucho's bomb and Swiggins' anchor. Also note that ghosts must hover around creeps and health packs as there is no passive regen!

After extensive testing with players, we noticed that some characters were ridiculously good as either ghosts or ghostbusters. Although much of the fun in this gamemode is trying out all of the different characters to see how they fare in this much different setting, I would suggest some banning if you want to play seriously. Here are the top-tier characters we found and why they were so deadly.

Amazing Ghostbusters:
-Skree (can instantly discover any invisible ghost with ceremonial mask and slow them down as well)
-Ayla (can rage infinitely and whizz across the map, making it nearly impossible to run from her)

Amazing Ghosts:
-Leon (can leave clone behind and can go invisible instantly as supposed to running for 4.2 seconds first)
-Commander Rocket (amazing escape artist and can leave behind laser which cannot be undone by ghostbusters)
-Gnaw (melts through creeps in seconds, albeit having very little escape capacity)
