Description

NO MODS • NO PISTONS • SURVIVAL READY

The Faux-7 Resource Scout is an industrial craft designed for searching for Ore using its included ore markers to pinpoint locations where valuables exist. Dangers exist in space, that's why the Faux-7 also includes 2 Gatling Guns for personal defence. Ion propulsion only, for space and Moons (use caution when hauling cargo with the included 2x Medium Cargo Containers.)

This scout is pretty cool. It features two Ore Markers that you can re-attach later for further use! Launching the Markers is as simple as ONE button press! Same goes for re-attaching! :D

Thanks, and feel free to comment or leave a vote! :D

Launching Ore Markers: Pres [7] to launch Left marker and [9] for Right marker.

Re-attaching Markers: (Note: Keep 'Safty Lock' ON during re-attachment for reduced clang.)
allign the 'markers' on the CORRECT side. Switch to Toolbar [2] by pressing Ctrl + 2 than Press [1] for Left and [3] for Right. Disable 'Safty Lock' via button [2] once attached and allow Markers to auto-allign to 0 degrees (forward) before re-enableing 'Safty Lock'

Fore Best Preformance of Ore Markers: Ensure thay ARE NOT fired from more than 600m away or they will be destroyed apon impact! For BEST results, fire Markers between 25 meters to 75 meters onto the FLATTEST surface possible! If they bouce off and float away, use the Magnetic Pads on the front of the Faux for gaining control of the Markers again.

Note: Only the markers that are pasted with the craft will re-attach. Markers from other crafts will-not-work unless modified.

Caution: Recommended to NOT move when launching Ore Markers

Caution: Includes Rotors

Caution: Somewhat slow on stopping speed

you have to get rid of the textpanels that make the frontprotection for the cockpit. they spin out for lord clang and thats the problem. it works after that

Faux-7? Faux?
So it's not a real ship, then? It's a Fake-7 ship? It's a fake ship?

A great addition to the Dura Mining Ops!!! I can't wait until you put out mining ships!!!

I actually like the looks because it looks very much like an industrial ship. Only reattaching the rotors on the ore markers may be a bit hard. But I see why rotors were used instead of merges. Apart from that, a great design. You can tell you worked hard on it.

I like the ship, but it's not aesthetically pleasing... parts of it are (I believe all of the parts are), but put together, it doesn't look great. I love the ideas implemented into this though... the deployable beacon, the usage of rotor heads in the cockpit area, and the ion thruster rings on the side. But it doesn't look great. (I know I'm the pot calling the kettle black.)

But, hey, it is a mining ship, so why should it look aesthetically pleasing?
