Some of my favorite (modern era) would be using the S160 for 60, or for modern diesel power use SW1500s, GP9s/GP7s, or even GP38s/GP40s.
Although it is set for modern times, for PRR era, you'd want to stick to the PRR GP7 or Alco RS11s. K4s can also be used for Pre-WWII passenger service from Flemington to Lambertville.
However these are just my suggestions of what I like to use when running this route; really almost anything can work if you want (NS locals, NJT service, or even equipment from other preservation groups).
1. My biggest desire is an included Quick Drive session not reliant on USATC package.
As expected, I couldn't use the included QD because of missing USATC, couldn't modify that QD to remove it, so I started a new QD. But I wasn't able to place the player spawn marker; it didn't work anywhere on any track. And every time I placed a static train I wasn't able to add a driver without a destination error. My solution: new free-roam session & static AT&N Consolidation.
2. I’d love more foliage on the SE trackside. I remember a solid wall of trees during a lot of the IRL run, whereas my copy of the route/scenario is sparse. If this is by design rather than missing asset, I'll go in & do as much copy and pasting of other foliage as I can.
