Description
The Advanced Aerospace Systems Aero Mark 1 Multirole fighter is the first in the series of aircrafts designed to perform within atmospheric environments, mostly fitted with a balanced configuration between speed, power and functionality. The turbofan engines can fly directly up with a high angle of attack or just the powerful vertical lift can be used to reach very high altitudes, that also allows a recover from a top speed free fall to 0 M/s in less than 400m. It's armed with 4x Gatling Guns and 6x Rocket Launchers for all sorts of attack operations, all linked to a high capacity storage for sustained combat, and is also equipped with an ECM system that attempts to divert the enemy fire from critical systems.
Despite of not being an hybrid, its comes equipped with a LSMD (Limited Space Mobility Drive), wich allows the Aero to perform small manneuvers in space, inside carriers, or to propel itself into a planet's atmosphere, as it's capable of entering a planet all the way from orbit, however, it cannot escape the planet's gravity on it's own.
Since it's life support system draws air directly from the atmosphere, there's no need for O2 tanks or generators.

Tips:

- The power consumption can reach up to a max of 98%, this only means it's actually very energy efficient as it doesn't have to carry extra weight from unused power generating blocks.
- The landing gears are leveled wotj the fuselage for maximum clearance, be careful when landing.
- Ignore 'Weapon is not working' warnings, the scripts works that way.
- Sometimes when using low power thrusters, the speed gets stuck in "0.01", if that happens, just 'shake' the ship a little and it will start accelerating normally, this should only happen in space because of the low power provided by the Ion Engines.
- If you don't like either the engine glow or navigation lights, just turn them off anytime, or change their colors, they're grouped up in the terminal menu conveniently.

v1.2 Jun-27 Update 1.186.5
- Some overall updates to the armor and design, changed the front white V lines back to the original
- Battery and some other blocks needed better armoring, they where quite vulnerable so some changes were made to the armors to fix that
- A few lines were improved and are more in conformity with everything else
- LSMD was rated at 24Kn but it was 12Kn only instead, this was fixed
- Performance improved slightly
- Terminal is cleaner now
- Several thrusters were re-positioned for better clearance and design
- This should be the last shape altering update, sorry for that guys

v1.1 Jun-21 Update 1.186.5
- New standard cockpit HUD with center display installed
- Added a battery
- Upward center lift power increased by 480Kn
- Forward trusters replaced. Power remains unchanged

ty for the feedback, this model is indeed a bit on the lightweight side to keep a better balance between its lift and speed, atmospheric ships are a bit hassly to deal with

[WTFH] ragnar_greymane made for survival, within the technical info you can find more informationa bout power, but its designed to be actually power efficient, as in, it will use up almost all of the available power when performing extreme manneuvers, that's to keep the weight x reactors balanced, so do not worry if the power usage bar reaches redline 99, its not being uderpowered

Updated to v1.1. New cockpit display standard and enlarged fonts allows a much better viewing. center lift fans power have been increased considerably allowing for greater altitudes, reversion power was vastly improved as well. The overall performance and agility was notably increased without any agressive design changes. It uses every bit of energy available while doing extreme manneuvers, so dont be alarmed by 100% energy usage at all, the truth is that its just under 100%, so energy efficiency is at max. Description and updated notes will be also provided later.
