Well actually is the good news is I found my own fix, and it seems like a hiccup from HL2 being merged with its episodes. Namely there's a couple of tree models from Episode 1 that I guess got left out of the combined HL2 edition from one oversight or another, and that includes the pine trees this map uses. I extracted the models from Episode 1's VPKs and put them into my own game to fix the problem, maybe I should upload that as a fix or something.

While I don't know a fix for those particular models, I found a pretty old thread where OP had a similar problem:

Maybe you have a conficting addon installed?

To interrupt the interloper talk, the trees aren't rendering for me, particiularly the big Christmas tree in the park. This error is repeating in a loop in my console, any idea what missing model or pther error is going on?
