This game is actually amazing. I just played through the entire thing like 14 minutes after it released, and it was a very nice 2 hours. If this is SEGA's idea of an April Fools prank, then every day should be April Fools. The characters are written well, and honestly, it's just a small thing, but I kind of liked how the perspective of this "friend group" was seen from an outsider(your character), it kind of added some charm to these dummies. All of the interactions felt in character and nothing about the game was forced or cheesy. It knew what it was, and it owned it. The villain's motive is actually kind of sad, but you get over it pretty quick. The whole game you work with Tails, which makes for some nice character interactions. This game is literally just Phoenix Wright x Hat in Time x Sonic, and for free, it is MORE than worth playing.

probably my favorite part of this whole scenario is that when they find Sonic they're just like "oh he's sleeping it's fine he's just lazy", and then at the end of the game, they go to get Sonic and then realize he's really hurt and are like "oh wait ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ he's actually dead and we just left him in a room alone"

Hardly a Sonic Game. Now, I don't hate this game, but it has some major bugs and is hardly worth 30 dollars. The soundtrack kicks ass, and Orbot and Cubot are in the game, but those are really the only good things I can say about the game. The level designs are what I can describe as hell. The transitions from 2d to 3d kinda suck and the 2d levels are horrific, and that's like 90 percent of the game. The game really doesn't allow you to go fast, which takes away the whole point of a Sonic game. It is almost impossible to build up any speed. The levels and bosses make no sense, and there are no hints to help you. So, if your anything like me and want a good, completed game, levels that make sense and great characters, then you should go and get Sonic Adventure 2, that is worth your money. Like I said, I don't hate the game, it is just confusing and doesn't measure up to what a Sonic Game should be. So, I wouldn't necessarily recommend it, but that's your decision, not mine. also sorry for making this review so long

The Game is fun and encourages creativity, and it has all kind of fun features.
