If you like straying from paths, this is a game for you.

There's a thrill in getting lost. You might get horribly lost or stuck somewhere, but in the process you might find something new, maybe something intriguing, interesting or beautiful. NaissanceE is full of that. Sure, you might get lost because there's a detail in the level that you missed, or maybe the level's just too difficult or confusing... but maybe that's intentional? It is an exploration game set in an unknown world after all, and it sure does reward people who take the time to needlessly explore around the level.

The breathing/sprinting is kinda annoying. But maybe that's just part of the experience to make you feel like you're in a very strange, confusing and stressful world. It felt like an unnecessary hassle, but now that I've finished it, I think the experience wouldn't be the same if it were removed. It's one of the few features that reminds you that you're a person in the game.

Very beautiful, could be a bit frustrating and eerie at times, but I think that's a great contribution to the atmosphere of the game. The levels aren't boring and the difficult ones aren't too frustrating to make someone quit (I think). The game feels complete, and everything feels intentional. Huge warning for those who have claustrophobia, megalophobia and maybe acrophobia.
