This game is a shell of its former self. I wouldn't take these hours back, but I would be hesitant to accrue more. The rise of blatant cheaters and complete overhaul of the core game modes has ruined the casual appeal for the game and caused a split in the playerbase. Casual players are forced to stick to quick match/unranked for fear of cheaters and an unbalanced ranking system, while longtime competitive players are forced to grind ranked, as the other modes don't provide the same experience. Ubisoft wants to improve the on-boarding process for new players, but doesn't understand what made them stay in the first place. With the addition of the skins marketplace sometime in the future, it becomes painfully obvious how few straws of relevancy they have left to grasp. Despite its (many) shortcomings, I still enjoy the game. There are better games for the same $8 or less, but this one keeps coming back.

Overall, 6.5/10. Its not the same, but its also not the worst.
