Coming from someone who only started to play recently with 100 hours so far, i will say that the game is not deserving of overwhelmingly negative. Mixed/mostly negative? Sure.

I see a lot of people saying that it's on its rapid decline, and that it was better when it came out. To that i say, you cannot expect a PvP game to maintain the same level of quality for almost 10 years. Nostalgia is a helluva drug. I understand that Blizzard promised a lot to the fanbase and did not deliver and to that i can sympathize.

Counter-swapping. What about it? If i'm playing or battling a hero which has a disadvantage or advantage, of course i will change to something more suitable.

For what it is, it's a great game. Considering it's free and that you have access to all heroes without having to pay. Not many games on the market that feel as good to play. Unfortunately filled with a lot of russians that don't speak or understand english, which makes team communication very difficult.
