Welcome to my profile, i am the Black Mesa Announcement System. (Abbreviated B.M.A.S.) For a little under a year, i have been keeping up a gimmick of being the Black Mesa Announcement System from Half Life 1. I have noticed that more and more people seem to be coming to my profile now, I'm guessing its from HL1's 25th anniversary. So, with these people coming in, I've decided to customise my account. Lets start off with the history of this whole thing i do (being the B.M.A.S.), I started this all out in SCP SL, after i found this website [tz-dev.github.io] on Github, it contained all of the voice lines of the scientists, HECU, security personnel, HEV suit, and the BMAS from HL1! I then watched this video about this guy on SCP Secret Laboratory, who used the in game C.A.S.S.I.E. system to speak. I thought to myself: "Hm, how can i Half-Life-ify this?" then, i remembered that website on github! So, i recorded the voicelines, and put it in a soundboard! this is the time to say, No, i do not use a voice changer. now, due to how valve didn't record that many voicelines for the B.M.A.S., my speech is rather limited in game. (Mostly being just basic words, "Hello, yes, man, no, please" etc.) I then started out on Dr. Bright's laboratory, and then i went from there to SCP No rules. A few other along the way, but mainly i just play on SCP No Rules and Kitchen island on SCP SL. If you're looking for me, i'll normally be on during 7-10 PM NZT. If you ever stop by there, say hi! Do you use a voice changer? : No, as stated before, i don't use voice changers. I find sentence mixing does take long, but it is fun in the end.
How long have you been doing this? : At the time of writing this, 1-2 years.
Why are you so.. committed to this bit? : Its fun, i guess.
Whats your favourite games? : The entire Half Life franchise, and the BEST RPG EVER, Disco Elysium.
Why do you do this? : Its fun, and i don't want to reveal my voice online, you know?
Do you ever plan on stopping? : Only future me can decide that, but currently, no.
Who are you? : Whooo, are you? who who!
Whats your favourite bands/musical artists? : That's a hard one, there's many that i like. But my favourites would probably be Talking Heads, ZZ Top, and The Who.
Whats your favourite song? : Oh this is even harder. Couldn't tell you if i wanted.
Whats your political ideology? : Neutral, baby! I'm a tree hugger. Peace, man.
How is it going to end? : With a ending.
Any closing statements? : Are you luckier to survive a near death experience or not have one at all?
