So, starting off, I am just going state that I played the entire game with the voice acting turned off, reading and hearing voices kind of ruins it for me, so I decided against it.

Now onto the actual review, God I have no idea where to even start. I loved every single piece of art, the characters, the background, even simple things like the menu were just visually appealing to me. The way the game is set up (AKA, the whole 'pivotal fragment' setup, where you pick which section of the chapter to experience) is new, and I love it, it contributes to that whole feeling of the experience being fragmented memories.

The story, the wonderful, wonderful story was so well-written, so in-depth, and I absolutely ♥♥♥♥ you not I cry every time I see this in my library because it was that good, the twists, the characters felt so real as well. The way everything fit in at the end, and the way the story actually made you think for yourself, after the second fragment map I actually just turned the computer off and contemplated my life for the rest of the night. I rarely have ever had a story make me think enough, and put me off guard enough that it completely breaks my mind the way this game did, my schedule was ruined by this game and I can't begin to express how wonderful this is, this ♥♥♥♥ should've gotten GOTY awards, this outclasses any game story made in the past ten years easily, book series even.

Regardless I'm probably just a little baby, and interpreted it too emotionally, but I seriously implore you to buy it, and give it a chance even if it begins to annoy you at the start, because it's good, and we need more games that make us think.
