part of a biologically-based multi-patterned
mimetic sculpture that's the result of six years of
multiple artists' work over several years on a scaled-down
nature reserve.
The artwork will be "resplendent" in form as it fills the
deserted bays, lakes and isolated swamps that surround
ROV Island, a 61.5 hectare nature reserve in Moss-Insey,
Dorset, in southern England.
"It's symbolic of natural beauty," says artist
Richard Wallis, 44, who spent eight years painstakingly
creating the sculpture. "
