I am happy about every hour I put in this game as It truly is a game that I will rerember in the future and recommend to others. Although some hitboxes are sometimes a bit questionable and the achievement system sometimes doesn't really work the way it should, the game is fundamentally good.
the community is fantastic, the game gets oh so much better and funnier (or even harder) with all of the thousands of workshop weaponskins, charactermodels, infectedmodels and even well-made levels. This being said a big part of the community are meme-lords.
now as for the multiplayer player-base it is kinda horrible if you aren't a god at the game and by this I mean that if you get caught by an infected, get downed once or mess smth up you WILL get kicked as for alot of people in multiplayer are salty and toxic as hell.
But that doesn't stop you from playing the game with friends, right? yeah, co-op is cool, you prob will end up in some funny situations like your friend downing you because funiman and you just juggling a zombie with your friend. Unfortunate my friends were most of the time playing it when I wasn't there for two seconds but hey when they read this they can withstand a little (well-meant) knife stab, right :(.
last but not least, the difficulty, this game can go from really easy to inhumanly difficult. but really there are two campaign modes: campaign and realism, campaign can be compared to the normal stats playtrough. This gamemode also has four difficulties: easy, normal, hard and expert (infected get more health and do more damage). and then realism makes campaign harder by giving survivors a disadvantage (bodyshots do less damage and witches oneshotkill you instead of insta down) and this mode also has the same difficulty settings as normal campaign and I'm telling you expert realism is really really really tough.
