FOREWARNING: I am a very.. Wordy(?) individual but there is wisdom in my words.
After experiencing Dead Seater, and It Steals (Amazing horror game with AI unlike any I've seen before) Zeekers comes through again and delivers something that I genuinely don't think any of us expected. in The Upturned he crosses the thresholds of Comedy and Death and does it in such a damn good way that it really drives the whole mood of the game and really The Dev drove it home with this one because he showed that you can be your wackiest self paired with your darker side and implement even that into a game to make it that much better.

This game is an experience. its not about being the best its just enjoying a narrative and reacting as best as you can to each situation laid before you. one moment you are having the time of your life just messing around in the level getting stuff done but in the next out of nowhere you are filled with dread and fear finding yourself having to run for your life. upon first entering this game you don't get that vibe at all. but let me tell you once you clear a couple of floors you start to see the premise of the game and that premise is such a huge roller coaster of emotions that I cant even begin to unbox so with that being said you yourself should buy the game and unbox the feelings this game brings yourself.

GAME-PLAY: is 10/10 it comes off as wonky but I assure all of you who read this it runs and works so smooth and compliments the atmosphere. your only means of defense is chucking whatever is around you (furniture, vases, plates. cardboard boxes, barrels, even thrown med-kits cause damage.) you go from a nice and orderly room to just complete uncontrolled chaos. which is HILARIOUS! A nice hotel brought to ruin by its own tenants and by you of course who really has no choice in the matter. point is though for as wonky as it looks the game-play is PHENOMENAL.
so with that being said get The Upturned while its on sale or even if it isn't. its priced at a very good/reasonable price.
but more importantly buy it so this Dev can continue to make even more AMAZING games like this one or even his others.
