Team Fortress 2 is absolutely one of my favorite games of all time, but it's both disappointing and disgusting what Valve has done to the game by their pure neglect. I never got to experience the game back in its golden days (Started Playing October of 2020) but regardless, I wish I could've. There seriously is no other game that I've enjoyed as much as TF2. The freedom to play almost however you want with the lack of competitive behavior in most games almost CRUSHES several other multiplayer shooters for me.

However, in the past few years the game has gone seriously downhill with the constant cheaters and bots. It's come to a point where you have to jump between several (if not dozens) of games to be fortunate enough to have matchmaking not throw you into a bot filled server. Not only is it a problem in TF2, but almost all of Valve's multiplayer games have the same problems. VAC simply just doesn't work anymore, and it didn't many years ago. Now they're making another multiplayer shooter and I'm worried it will do poorly because Valve doesn't do ANYTHING about cheating in their old games, and they likely won't in Deadlock.

We were briefly acknowledged back in 2022, given nearly nothing... and it obviously wasn't enough. I'm almost embarassed for them. Sure, Valve is a MASSIVE corporation that dominates the PC market and makes millions a day from Steam alone, but that doesn't mean that an entire community they promised constant updates and content for should be abandoned. I seriously hope something is done, but knowing Valve, they will likely just entirely ignore us... but we can really only hope for the best I suppose.

#FixTF2 (Please, Valve/Plant/Janitor)
