Silky: Visuals. Pace
Rough: Completion. Saving

I really enjoyed this game. Had a nice pace and it never felt tedious. The further you got into it, the more options you had to knock the amount of travel down and travel is something you need to do a lot of. In early game you really need to be walking around - and looking around - a lot. After a while it becomes less necessary but many pieces of the quests are to be found by discovery so you really can't go rushing around blindly too much.

Most of the puzzles, as quests, were instinctively simple and there was only one that seemed off to me and subsequent reading up suggested others felt the same. It felt like a lottery to select the right person and ultimately for me, it was. I'd need to replay the game to correct it for the achievement which is disappointing.

The order in which 2 quests were completed was also annoying because if the 2 were reversed then you cannot get one of the achievements. But there is no clue or reasoning for doing it any particular order. Because the number of save is very limited, it requires having to play the whole game again to fix it. Given it's story based, that really makes it a big call to expect people would do that.

All in all, despite the annoying completion bungles, this was a fun story with great mood and ambience and I really enjoyed it.

I did get it on special, I'd suggest you do the same. The price:content ratio felt just right.

8.5/10
