Rambley is good, I like Rambley

I played this game back on Epic but re-bought it when it came to Steam, Epic launcher is terrible.
This game is really fun, I have played it since it came out on Epic but took a break till it came back to steam. If you are new to the medieval slasher genre and are afraid of the potential stomping of high level players this game is perfect for you. If you want to play a more tame and casual game in the medieval slasher genre this game is perfect for you. If you just want a game you can play for fun when you're bored, this game is still good for that too.

Battles are climactic and cinematic, the music is intense and fits well with the battles, the voice lines are goofy and add a lot to each charge into a massive objective filled with fighting and catapult fire while someone throws a flaming chicken across the fighting and hits an archer in the head all while a ballista fires a bolt into someone impaling and launching them into three more as they stick into some random NPC peasant just standing there all while two fully armored knights sit in the side lines having a fist fight until some random person throws a bee hive they found at them killing them both. This game is the purest form of chaotic fun you could probably have, so much happens every single match you will miss half of it but still have seen enough to wonder what the hell is happening and the best part, the dev team encourages you to do it.

This game has so much to it all while constant content releases so frequently you'll get something new to try every month if not week. The dev team is very friendly and helpful a majority of the time and loves playing into the jokes the community itself forms.
If you want a game you can truly goof off in and do anything you want, you should at least give the game a shot.

Everything about this game is genuinely incredible, the soundtrack, the visuals, the game play, the world building, the environment, the story, everything.
If you enjoy great platforming with fast paced and in depth movement options with combat that is surprisingly fun and unique all alongside one of the most beautiful art styles to accompany a gorgeous soundtrack then I recommend this game highly.

Have you ever looked at or played a game and thought, "This is fun and all but like, what if there was a game I could get addicted to that I would enjoy maybe once a month and would get content so rarely that I can feel my skin tightening against my bones and my hairs actively turning grey on my head before anything remarkable or worthwhile is released? What if there was a game where the meta is constantly stale with the only variation being based on in game abilities that can completely determine a fight simply based off the fact someone clicked one button before me? What if there was a game with a community so indecisive, argumentative, disagreeable, stubborn, and downright unwilling to learn simple game mechanics resulting in constant butchering or over buffing of characters who were fine? What if I could have a game so physically and mentally exhausting that a single match was enough to make you ask what you're doing wasting your life on a game with a dev team that can't even bother to get professional players inputs on updates and patches before slapping in absurd changes that do nothing but hurt the game?"

If you have asked yourself any of these questions, then this game is right up your alley :)


Edit: 29 hours added onto when this post was originally made, game is still awful and the devs won't release changes the community have wanted for years for no reason (option selects). They gave us a week long testing grounds to try changes that can completely alter the game, the changes were widely liked and accepted and improved the games combat greatly yet still the dev team feels it would make more sense to make us wait another 4 months to actually get them.

Edit 2: Back again for round 3 and I can confidently say that with the removal of option selects and the current testing grounds reworking dominion to be a better game mode, this game has improved a lot. It's honestly crazy to me how the simple removal of option selects was enough to completely sway my view on this game but it really has made the game more enjoyable to play in almost any aspect. I now really do recommend this game, well done Ubi (took long enough though).

If you are a new player, don't play it, if you are a veteran player, stop playing it.
