In contrast with 2033 and Exodus, Last Light's focus is entirely on the factions that inhabit the Metro. While in 2033 the Red Line and the Nazis were more a part of the backdrop for Artyom's journey, now they move the story along, allowing for a more in depth exploration of both groups. Granted, it's not like these two extreme ideologies have never been showcased, criticised or used as enemies before (Wolfenstein is just an example) but the rest of the context of Moscow's metro make it entertaining nonetheless. And talking about the rest, I would say it sadly falls just flat of 2033, but not by much. It's still a worthwhile experience to be had.
