Growing up, everyone told Guy, "oh you cant be a white mage you have to punch people and be strong man!!!" Guy always had aspirations of being a white mage, but his peers kept holding him back. Then, one day, he finally decided to break free of the chains holding him back when he read his first Cure tome. From that day forth, Guy set out to be the best white mage Flynn would ever bare witness too, so much so that even the citizens of Mysidia recognized his magic prowess.
