Cult of the Bugs

too many to list here
but most are actually game-breaking and bad.
like being given a mission to marry a cult follower...only to realize theyre dead
or get a mission to resurrect a follower
and theyre not dead?

game not letting you unlock tier 3 of the skill tree for cult
certain rituals not working
buildings disappearing/ not workign anymore
bosses killing you post death, denying rewards AND progress

saves just outright bricking themsleves


it's a huge list, this is leik 4% of the bugs.
if you're waiting to play this, wait longer. they rushed this baby through Q&A so fast to meet a deadline given to them from corproate, there's no denying this.

you'd either have ot willingly release it with this many bugs, and put your stamp of approval on the product, or you were rushed to put it out, unfinished or not.

neither are good, but at least the latter gives you some wiggle room to maintain a level of decency

@Hyrule the Cthulhu aspect is only available if you bought the game before release, and I never heard of any bug that makes follower aspects disappear

that sucks.. my biggest issue right now is one of my follower is supposed to be blue but is grey

i await the ones that will ensure my save files arent bricked.
i didnt play much but it sucks to have most of my time , which i spent cleaning up my cult area of trees and rocks ( yes even the big ones ) and have them all unable to load for reasons unknown, i even did manual saves too, all broken

@lantux they only droped 1 patch fixing the tier 3 softlock (which was before this review)
I yet await the one that will give me cthulhu

I just played the entire game in like 3 days, and the only bugs I found were that sometimes the quests failed instantly, in general I had a pretty great time with the game and never found any game breaking bugs, maybe you just had awful luck. Anyway, they're updating the game really fast to fix bugs, so maybe you should give it a second try, who knows, maybe you end up liking it.
