You aren't the first. They do this regularly. Anyone that leaves negative comments about their game gets banned. Steam has been allowing developers to get away with this for a long time.
Same happened to me years ago in another game. What did I do? I warned people asking about the game that it was full of cheaters. (And even today, it still is.) So, they banned me for "aggressive behavior". Which you will not find ANYWHERE in Steam's rules, or their's.
Telling you to wait months to EVEN ASK to have the ban removed is not policy. It's a blow-off. They are hoping you forget, and just never come back. Because they don't want you talking bad about their game, and they'll do whatever it takes to make sure that happens.
