Hours later, a stir from the bed jolted Pigeon Sing awake. He looked over to see AKSaiyan's eyes fluttering open. Shocked and hopeful, he watched as AKSaiyan slowly sat up, a confused but peaceful expression on his face.
"Hey," AKSaiyan whispered, his voice stronger than before. Pigeon Sing's eyes widened in disbelief.
"You're awake!" Pigeon Sing exclaimed, tears of joy streaming down his face.
