I once thought that this game was going to be a waste of time, but I am glad that I tried it out and put in a decent number of hours. The combat is not difficult to understand with most of it being either spamming melee, aiming your choice of gun, or repeatedly using abilities; except for a small amount of boss enemies that require some knowledge, of course. I love being able to jump and slide around and grab onto every wall I see! It makes me feel free, unlike those games where running around is nothing special. There is a large assortment of weapons you can use, ranging from dual swords to grenade launchers, and mostly all weapons can be made viable with mods that boost their stats. There are multiple different mods to choose from too; you can change the elements of your weapons or boost the stats of your frame with them, such as with an extra jump boost. And lots of people say that this game is pay to win, but I disagree with that statement. You can earn platinum just by playing the game and selling items that you do not want. I have made a good amount of platinum that way and you can use either a website or the trade chat. But one thing that I will agree with the community on is that there is definitely grinding involved and it can be a pain unless you join others and have time on your hands. Oh, and one more thing to add to this! The frames are all super cool! Although I have not tried them all out, it is fun to work towards collecting them all once you have finished the quests and see all of their abilities. Lavos is where it is at though; trust me.
