Coming from someone who has played around 1000 hours in game from Bnet. Destiny 2 is a great game, if you enjoyed anything about Destiny 1 or Destiny 2, buy Forsaken. and maybe Shadowkeep (still gathering thoughts from the recent release) . The game has phenomenal gun play and the community is great. If you were unsure about buying Destiny 2 before, try New Light, where you are immediately brought up to current levels and almost all forms of content (Crucible, Strikes, and Gambit) as well as all Year 1 and almost all Year 2 content, for free, is a no brainer. At least give the game a chance now, Bungie is all in on Destiny 2, no more Activision pulling strings. Try the game, maybe buy DLC.
