By far my favorite shooter

It's sad to see such a beloved piece of videogame and internet culture left to rot like this. I'm skeptical that #fixtf2 will wake Valve up, but the community's ability to pick itself up and organize even after so many years of neglect from Valve, punishment from botters, and naysaying from within is truly inspiring. This game and its community are too important to me to say nothing. Even is the results are as mild as #savetf2, I'll gladly take watching the community go down making some noise over letting it die quietly without knowing it.

Uncle Dane also raises an important and alarming point about the rampant cheating problem in games as a whole, not just tf2. If these concerns are not addressed, tf2 may be a bleak window into the future of all pvp shooters. If you have a game you care about, the state of tf2 should worry you.
