Persona 5 Royal is definitely the definitive way to play Persona 5. As someone that played through the original there are so many great tweaks and additions that it honestly feels like a steal even at full price. The game has a wonderful soundtrack combined with amazing visuals that perfectly blend into it's tried and true turn based game play. The game is perfect whether it's your first Persona game or whether you're a series die-hard. I would highly recommend playing Persona 5 Strikers after Royal as it serves as a direct sequel. This game is everything a turn based RPG should be and then some. It elevated the quality of what a triple A RPG should look like.
