Add more head models and this game becomes perfect.

I bought this game a very long time ago and have only gotten around to playing it now.
I'm sorry to say it's just not funny. Just go play the Henry Stickman games, they're free.

Early Access Review
Trying 9-Bit Armies for the first time was really fun, it reminded me of when I was a kid playing Red Alert 2 back in 2004. Unlike 8-Bit (which I thought was a bit of a let down at least aesthetically) 9-Bit exactly nails what I wanted out of the 2016 original and I have very little to complain about so far.
Although I'd like it if we had hammy voice lines instead of bleep bloops for the commander and an extended boot camp mini campaign to better ease new players/me with a migraine into the game.
I'm looking forward to completing the campaign in co-op!

There are two kinds of Dwarves on Hoxxes. People who rock and stone, and Drillers who throw C4 in your face, then push the button.

This game is great and there is very little I can say that hasn't already been said.
What little failures it has should hopefully be expunged in the upcoming sequel.
Edit for dumb steam badge.

I didn't like the puzzles, but the art style and music was fantastic. It's worth buying for the music alone and there are guides if you're an idiot like me.

I respect a challenge, but any game that demands flawless repetitive perfection needs to be really damn good for me to justify the grind, unfortunately A Night In Berlin is just ok.

This game is for completionists and speed runners only, everyone else should go play the SUPERHOT demo instead, this game isn't for you.

Whatever gripes I have with this game are nothing compared to the pure bliss I'm experiencing.
I will buy the full thing the moment it goes on sale again.

Entropy is by far the biggest and most impressive Half Life 2 mod on steam, being completely free and fairly short it's well worth the time.

This mod while free is heavily flawed however and falls into a lot of the same traps every ambitious mod does: questionable balancing, "I'd be cool if" level design, poorly explained and obnoxious time wasting puzzles, ridiculous difficulty spikes, worthless mechanics (the CFLU mostly), annoying achievements, feature creep, fast zombies are too quiet, vortigaunts do way too much damage, too many props to get stuck on, bugs and a clunky barely functional stealth section .

That being said this mod does a few things I really enjoy: infinite sprint, higher weapon damage, weapon sound improvements, fast zombies no longer scream, higher weapon recoil (needs more work though), great sound track, doesn't clash with the official lore, the bad guy perspective.

There's clearly a lot of love that went into this mod, had it been mostly combat oriented with a focus on making you feel like a badass war criminal peace keeper instead of a crippled asthmatic with time rewinding powers this would have been great.

This idea came to me post script and I can't be bothered fitting it in: Your character is a professional Metro cop who unlike Freeman, definitely got professional weapons training. The game should have reflected this better, making you feel like a bigger badass then that nerdy scientist the same way Opposing Forces and Sam from MGR did. The game does do this, but not as much as needed.

It's not bad, but if this mod made the mistake of charging as much as Hunt Down the Freeman did it'd lose it's credibility pretty much instantly.

Short and good.
I liked how the main menu foreshadowed the mine being attacked.
Did not like the lack of cover and overabundance of combine, the level design also didn't factor me running away from the Antlions like a sensible person.
