The graphics on this game are amazing, I absolutely love them. But, in terms of which I recommend, I recommend playing Dying Light 1 if you actually care about the story. If you make a wrong choice or a choice you don't like in this game, say goodbye to the 5 or more hours you spent on that save because you CAN'T revert it. You have to play a new save all the way back to that point to change it. Haven't beaten the game to see if it is like the 1st one where you can change the story percentage and go back on your save to test different things. But until I find out, I know you can't do anything but create a whole new ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ save to test out a new story/choice. For this reason alone I do not recommend this game.

This decision is of course a bit biased as I look mainly towards the story telling/side quests of the game and judge the game mainly off of that alone.

Wish me luck in another 4 hours of going through the same ♥♥♥♥ to change an outcome :/

Edit 2: I have played the game a bit longer and as expected from a new game there are some particular game breaking glitches and items you can get.

One thing to note in this game at it's current state, HALF WAY INTO THE GAME YOU CAN GET THE HIGHEST LEVEL ♥♥♥♥ IN THE GAME. Which I think is a bit....stupid.

(SPOILER) In order to access this area, you have to go to the central city "the second city area you can get to in the game basically where the fish eye is" From there, there is a giant lake near the bottom of the map. Well, you aren't supposed to be able to get to this area...UNTIL THE END OF THE GAME..There will be these level 5-6 exploding zombies that just spawn in the water and die...you can get 11-12 lockpick airdrops that give you weapons and armor all ranging from...LEVEL 7-9?! WTF! I got this as early in my game as level 4 zombies..which is literally a bit less than half of the game completed...but you would think "oh if I don't look for this area, it won't ruin my game experience" Wrong. You can find this area super easy if you are a person who likes to explore every corner of a game...originally you are only supposed to get to this area by completing a main quest for a dam that drains the water and the airdrops are supposed to be an extreme HIGH RISK HIGH REWARD.

You might also think "oh, once you get them, they are gone right? Because they are airdrops?" Also wrong...they respawn only like very let's see..............30 MINUTES?!

shoutout to my friend The Badger Grim for showing me this

Dying Light Devs, please fix this somehow fast...it's so stupid...

Other than this, the graphics as I stated are phenomenal, the fighting is awesome and the parkour, absolute crisp. But at the current state I wouldn't recommend buying this game for at least a few more months with the current issues and game breaking things that are way easier than they should be...For this reason, my no recommendation stays as it is.
