Early Access Review
To be a "base builder" it is quite lifeless, it has construction options, however it is not properly a base builder, not in the sense that other games with better dynamics and strategies do.
Don't get me wrong but after the hours that I have played, there is a feeling of overwhelming repetition, with the new update, the player is punished and not rewarded, which makes it tedious to continue playing ...
there is almost no variety of enemies (either factions or aliens), which emphasizes the tedium of playing after the first 5-10 hours of a game, without challenges, punishment only and a linear plot, the game can be perfectly finished in less than 20 hours.
There is an equally helpless feeling when wanting to adorn the ship and its crew more (a flat character creation and no improvement in skills, despite the fact that Devs have promised it for a long time).
It has many things that could end up giving you more if you do not analyze the game enough (its economy system for example, can be a punishment sometimes)
It is a game with excellent art, the truth is that I played what I played for it, however it does not remove the desire that I have left to have better visuals for the settlers or extra characters (there is no way to change anything visual in characters)
In summary, it is to test its 20-30 hours, since it is linear, it has the appearance of being non-linear, however it is and a lot ... you can lose more hours, but they would only be to discover that you have a fleet cap ( that overwhelms) and that there are no missions or something "beyond" the ¨end¨...
I recommend it, yes... but in hope for more content and better future changes... Character creation/visuals,more variety in enemies and missions/quests
