Gonna leave this positive FOR NOW, very much subject to change.

I've only played the first 100 turns so far, but have other stuff to do as of typing this up. But so far, I'm liking it. The only things that're bothering me, is the lack of color coding with buildings on the map (like how in Civ 6, you saw blue, you knew it was science. You saw yellow, it was gold. Or if you saw purple, it was culture.) and the UI. The UI needs SERIOUS work.

But that aside, this isn't my full thoughts quite yet. But so far, so good. Haven't made it out of the first age or swapped civs yet, will update with more.

While I have much to say about the company that made the game this skin is usable in, if its for a good cause, I'm all for it. The skin's just a bonus.

Absolute perfection. Got lost in this game's world for hours on the Xbox 360 and Xbox One, and for the first time ever I actually got to play through all the DLC's after picking this up on PC.

Can safely say after 100%ing the achievements in a vanilla run of the game, and having since doubled my playtime at the time of this review with modding, this game's perfect. Endless replayability with different builds, self-imposed challenges, and the many mods that can keep you playing forever. If you can think of it, there's a good chance a mod for it exists.

Pick this classic up if you don't own it already. Preferably on sale, as while I feel the price is justified, it goes on sale very often, even outside of the usual seasonal sales during the summer, spring, autumn, etc etc.

A once in a generation game: PLEASE play this. Even when its not on sale, its well worth the price, especially with what's coming along in season 5 as of typing this!

Oh boy, where do I start?

Story was good until the last two chapters. Last two chapters feel super rushed and just have no buildup at all.

Invasions replaces the Krypt with mindless running around and using your uppercuts after a certain point by just dumping all points into attack.

Online has no connection filters, and was just Raiden, Johnny, and Baraka, all with Cyrax and was very boring to fight. Kameo system being in the game already solidified that people will figure out which kameo is the best, and only use that. And they said the kameos were supposed to bring VARIETY. Ha, yeah right.

The PC port is unoptimized, with constant lag and stuttering, even on high end rigs.

Skins are now $10, with price being inflated with color palettes or things you may not want, and most of them aren't even faithful to their source material. Complete ripoff. Especially when MK11 sold you 3 generally good skins, for $6.

STILL no krossplay, in a 2023 game.

Never thought I'd be saying this, but MK is doomed if its headed this direction. Never thought I'd switch over to Street Fighter in my life because of MK being half-baked. I've bought the best editions of every game prior to this, and never regretted it, even in a game's particular lows. But THIS? This is the first time they've made me regret my purchase of the premium edition.

$40 for 6 characters is outrageous, and I'm sure all 6 characters and 5 kameos will be fun to play. But price aside, couldn't NRS have used better wording for this? The release date is listed as "Sep 19, 2023" as of this review, yet the description and release date imply that buying this pack now let's you get them NOW.

I knew for myself from the get go that this wouldn't be how the pack works, as I've played the other NRS titles on PC and console, but not everyone, especially people's first NRS game being this one, will know that. At least change the wording and make it clear to the consumer.

Damn, too hard.

Still too grindy, even after the patch. Even with every tower having the first two upgrades in every path be free from the start now, its still easy to lose because of the match making putting you up against people who simply have more upgrades than you.

The actual gameplay is a bit boring and buggy too. You basically have to use tacks if you want to win, or you're basically crippling yourself. The only sends worth using for actual attacks are camo purples, and DDTs. Don't bother with any other ones outside of income. And even then, the game sometimes just screws you over, by just not having your opponent lose lives, despite leaking and the bar even flashing. Lost several games because of this and the fact people are just getting all the top upgrades and just end up outlasting me because I'm limited to 222 on everything.

While I'm sure the game will improve in due time, I simply cannot recommend this right now. Its simply too shallow, and not fun.

This pack looks cool, as I play the siren the most out of all four vault hunters, but who seriously thought it was okay to charge $10 for this, along with each of the other packs? In BL2, you could buy customization PACKS that were way cheaper than this, and you got more than just one item for it. And don't try to use the fact the pack includes a head AND body as an excuse, its still disgustingly overpriced.

If you REALLY want this or any of the other final form packs, your best bet is buy seasons pass 2. If you're willing to wait at least 6 months (possibly less or more), you can likely get the pass for cheaper. But otherwise, ♥♥♥♥ the person who thought it was okay to charge nearly the same price for the base game, if someone were to buy the final form packs separately.
