Undertale was a game that I wasn't really interested at first, the art was too simplistic, the gameplay I saw was interesting, but nothing special enough for me to spend money on it, however my friends kept insisting over a year ago that I should play it, that it was one of the best games of 2015 and that it was a different than every game I've ever tried before, and well, at least I promised that one day I would get it on a steam sale, and a year later, that's what I did. For a year I avoided spoilers the best I could and started playing only knowing about the routes(no mercy, neutral and pacifist) but not truly knowing how to get them, and about those routes end bosses, little did I know those were already heavy spoilers for the game... it sure did hurt my experience of the game, but it could have been wose, I guess xD
Well, needless to say, in the end I truly loved this game, now it's my favourite game on steam and probably in general, but it's not without faults, but before getting to that, having a fanbase with a bad side to it, and having memeable dialogue/scenes that may peeve some people on the internet, it's not the game's fault! I'm reviewing the game!
Now, here's my opinion on the good and bad sides of the game:

Pros:
- Great characters
- Great story and nice twists
- Enjoyable humor
- Unbelievable high amounts of attention to detail
- Inovative battle gameplay
- Amazing soundtracks

Cons.:
- Not really the most impressive art on the overworld, might throw some people off at the beginning
- Really slow walking pace and no way for going faster
- The puzzles are too easy. Most of them are skippable if you know how to do so, so for the people who actually want to do them, they could be more challanging
- Most of choices throughout the game don't really have any effect, and lead to the exact same outcome
- The story leaves too many questions unanswered. Space left for theories is fine but Undertale simply leaves too much space for that... (would benefit from a prequel)

Well, obviously no game is perfect, and Undertale is no exeption at all, but it's still a heck of an experience as long as you can avoid spoilers and as long as you have the patience to explore. It's deffinitly worth buying it for 10€
I would give it a solid 9/10
