The reason why this game feels slow is because it's too realistic. Rockstar Games did such an awesome job on this masterpiece. Absolutely phenomenal game. They really are the "Rockstar" of video games. Bruh, this ain't AAA, this is quadruple A game right here lol. This is the best, story based, modern video game made even in 2024, other games don't even come close to this one and I feel bad for the shmucks who have not played RDR2.

Dude, the snow felt so real in this game, that when it snowed irl I got nostalgia of this game. And I USUALLY HATE WHEN IT SNOWS IRL. makes you feel like you should suck it up because our ancestors had it way rougher travelling in these harsh weathers. I also really love how interactive the dialogue is. You really feel like you're talking to characters cuz they don't say random dialogue that doesn't belong there, you know what I mean? This game wins in both the story aspect and the gameplay aspect! The only thing I didn't like and I wish the game had was the ability to fast travel properly.

I had thought Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain was one of the best if not the best modern next-gen games I've played until I played this game.

Rockstar Games Launcher is kinda dumb though, if you try to run this game offline it works but eventually it stops working and you have to go online again (connected to internet) to be able to play the game. You would get a message like "Activation error". I don't know what the agenda is with game companies making it a requirement to be online to play even their single-player games. they wanna spy on us??? yeah, it's wack.

Another issue is the game does not work well with the Steam overlay (Shift+Tab). There is a conflict there. In the settings, if the graphics API is set to Vulkan, which is what it's set to by default, and you enable the steam overlay, you will get stuck lol. your steam overlay will be on your screen and you won't be able to get it off. But yeah. there's no way, at least I don't know any way to get out of it without restarting your game. You could try setting the Graphics API setting to > Direct x12 but that just makes the game crash more. because now there's another issue; on DX12 setting you can get the "out of memory" error on game startup. meaning game will crash. very annoying issue. I just never choose this setting ever. I stick to Vulkan and long as I don't bring up the Steam overlay, it's gucci.

Also wish they added a Quicksave command like Bethesda games have. Would really help on the path to attaining 100% completion since it is a HUGE game and you need to save often. the menu UI is slow. everything about this game is slow lol. it takes a while to get into the menu, save the game and then get out of it. A quicksave feature would've solved that problem.
