Nintendo or some copyright troll has forced the devs to remove Nintendo related content from the workshop. Garry Newman failed to fight back against this clear breach of fair use and the coward caved to a company who hates their entire fanbase.

i already had my fun with this game while it lasted, I stopped playing it often for a few months now.
Uninstalled the game and I've moved on. GG

Shame to see this platform fall so hard.. I made many great friends since I first stated playing 4 years ago, but now it's completely dead to me..

I am done with this game, Bungie just removed a massive chunk of content and paywalled the new content that isn't even worth the asking price. Nearly 1,000 hours I've wasted on this game only to have Bungie spit in my face and remove everything that I enjoyed.
All Year 1 content GONE, all Year 2 seasonal content (Black Armory, Menagerie) GONE. And all my gear I earned is now level capped and most are rendered completely useless! Bungie removed everything I worked hard to earn and content that I actually paid for! Heck you don't actually own anything you purchase for this game the moment you agree to Bungie's terms of service. Absolutely disgusting business practices like this should be ILLEGAL!
So, for anyone who reads this review and wants to play this game for the first time I say: DON'T!! There is very little content now that's free, everything else is paywalled. You missed out on everything that made this game decent and fun to play.

I don't recommend this game to anybody, the game is extremely lacking in content, all expansions are paywalled and overpriced, PvP is broken because of the new Stasis abilities which by the way are also paywalled, (Pay to win) and the community of this game tends to be very toxic to people who dare to criticize the game in any way.
Stay far away from this game, go play Halo MCC instead or any other game on Steam.

I loved this game when it came out way back in 2009. It was a fresh break from Call of Duty and Halo at the time.
It hasn't aged all that well. (old game engine, graphics aren't great and the contols are a little sluggish)
The first few levels can be a grind especially when you need to aquire better gear and level up your character to overcome some challanging levels and bosses.

The game can be really fun in Co-op with friends. It's recommended to play this game with friends otherwise you can die real easily without a buddy to help you out.
Going solo can be done as long as you're willing to spend a lot of time grinding it out for good loot and level up. Be sure to finish side missions to get bonus EXP, loot and cash.

The DLCs greatly expand the game and they do add a lot of replayability. (Zombie Island of Dr. Ned and The Secret Armory of General Knoxx are the best)

Overall, I greatly enjoyed this game. It's a Loot-and Shoot game. You shoot bandits/creatures, get loot and shoot some more!
