Over the years the game has become more and more littered by the microtransactions, despite still being a pseudo-subscription based game. It is free to try, not free to play. They focus more on improving their monetization schemes than actually improving core gameplay loops.

First time I went to space:
-Aliens got angry at me because Spode.
-Aliens attacked me, I fended them off.
-Later I deprived their planet of oxygen.
-They begged me to leave the rest of them alone.
-I destroyed them.

Would suffocate an alien race again

Good game, but should rather be called connection timeout simulater 2014

This has mostly been fixed. There are a few bugs here and there. But that is to be expected.
