Hello there. I'm here to give you an answer to your "Graphical downgrade" topic.
Secondly, I didn't want to post on the game's forum because of Rockstar's anti-modding stance. Last year, they brought down many mods. The less exposure mods receive, the better outcome, generally speaking.

There's a great visual overhaul mod in development, called Project ReVive. From what I remember, it aims to get rid of z-fighting issue too. However, it's far from being completed so we have to wait a long time.
