Ah Hotline Miami 2. What can I say about this game that hasn't been said already. When such a simple game in concept can make you feel so many emotions, you know it's a masterpiece. Basically, you play as either the Fans, the Detective, the Writer or the Son. You enter a level and need to kill everyone. It may seem impossible and frustrating at first due to their quick reaction times (even harded on Hard Mode) but the feeling of satisfaction you get after cleaning each floor is totally worth it. The soundtrack that it unique to every level makes your heart beat harder and harder with every retry and is filled with absolute bangers by renowned synthwave artists like Mitch Murder, Perturbator and Carpenter Brut. After you clean a level you need to get back to the car. While you walk back, all the music stops and you can't help but feel absolutely disgusted with all the mess you've made. That feeling gets stronger with each level and it still amazes me how such a simple concept on paper can make you feel all these things. The story is great but can feel a little confusing, especially if you haven't played the first game (you don't NEED to play the first game but I totally recommend it since it's a bit easier imo but that is completely subjective). Achievements are hard to get but look great displayed on your steam profile :).
Also, one major plus compared to the first game is the inclusion of the workshop. You can make your own levels or download some new ones made by the community. Whether you're looking for some silly, fanfic style stuff or some real, amazing campaigns, you'll absolutely find something you like.

So tldr, the game is an absolute masterpiece and it's a real shame the developers aren't interested in making a new one but you can't really blame them. So many game franchises were destroyed by terrible, forced sequels. After all, the workshop is here to quench your thirst for new content. Definitely 10/10 from me.
