That's absolutely fair enough, I can't argue with that! And I fully concede that this isn't the best pick for the casaul "pick up and play" gamer who just wants a quick hour here and there. Personally I enjoy the progression and the feeling of getting stronger and (particularly relevant to Carmageddon) better at the game. That's what drives me, watching everything get bigger and brasher around whilst simultaneously seeing my own skill level increase to accommodate. It's a rewarding experience for me but I can certainly appreciate that it's different strokes for diffferent folks and some gamers don't want to invest a significant amount of time in a title that takes some time to "warm up".
