Despite everyone else's backlash.
I do like the game, i like the changes, i like the tug of war for the warlords that slows down the otherwise fast paced gameplay, I like the diverse roster of units, especially gunpowder units, the sound design is nice. There are lots of campaigns to sink your teeth into and the AI poses an actual challange especially if they start with a headstart.

WHAT I CANNOT FORGIVE HOWEVER, IS THE GAME CRASHING EVERY SINGLE ♥♥♥♥♥♥ TIME I'M ABOUT TO WIN, FORCING ME TO REDO HOUR LONG MISSIONS BECAUSE THE GAME ALSO REFUSES TO PROPERLY SAVE HALF THE TIME!!!!

Accidentally say "damn" when we encounter a hunter.
Immedietly blasts my friends head off
Don't breathe for a whole minute trying not to laugh
Hunter later attacks us again,
Everyone shuts up,
Hunter falls flat on his face like dumbass for no reason
Absolutely lose it kakling like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

There are certain negatives (such as spikes being really inconsistent about being instakill or not) overall i like this game. Graphics are beutifull, the OST is great, And the escape sequences are really fun.
However what's the point of collecting 12 ♥♥♥♥♥♥ HP upgrades if half the dangers just instantly kill you!?

It's a decently fleshed out DF clone with a more comfortable learning curve.

Technicly you can't "win" dwarf fortress but i made a fortress of so many dwarves who were all happy and strong and rich that the game crashed... does that count?

Less is more.
Subset games understands this concept as they made an extremely deep tactics rougelike with very simple but meaningfull gameplay systems in place. The result is a satisfying and tight gameplay loop that when clicks with you, will give you entertainment for many hours.

One of the few survivor games that comes together so well i genuenly have fun no matter what i'm doing, might be just the well crafted atmosphere but even boring tasks such as gathering raw resources for a base is quite satisfying.
The style and art direction ensures the game's graphics will look presentable far into the future while not killing current desktops. Aldough the game tends to eat into my CPU's capacity, i didn't encounter lagspikes or crashes...

A simple but uniqe strategy game.
A very refreshing take on RTS and Grand strategy that scales well unlike other games. You can't effortlessly squash the enemy because the deep and intricate logistics system constantly challange you and equalise the playing field between any given opponents, Despite diplomacy being nonexistent it only serves to further the ballance between bigger and smaller states.
Despite your empire's immence size you can't just move your mighty army to conquer and curbstomp your neighbour without proper preparations, your other neighbours are constantly looking for weakness and will raid and siege underdefended areas.
Starvation is a real danger for both sides, and the rythm between the campaigning seasons and the winter is something unlike in any other RTS, combat is simplistic but the surrounding systems make the whole story of conquering brutal and methodical.

Hard but extremely fun,
And Loader is a testament to the art of skill based movement, and rewarding learning curve, i love being walking a spiderman/one punch man crossover.

Is fun
