Overall, the game is very good. It distances itself from the garbage CoD/BF arcade crap and focuses on authenticity and immersion that has yet to be rivaled by any other WW1 game I've come across. The game runs smooth. The maps are well designed based on real WW1 battlefields with great attention to detail that includes good optimizations. Gameplay-wise, I have a few complaints: 1.) the movement can be kind of clunky. Aiming down your sites before cycling your bolt seems to restart the animation. Characters don't account for vertical movement; in other words, you'll see a guy running on a flat surface and then he'll suddenly teleport a foot or two in elevation. 2.) THE AI WILL TK YOU. Please fix this, devs. 3.) there is an option to mix up different factions on the same side. For example: you'll see French soldiers mixed in with British soldiers. It harms immersion and only adds confusion with the mixed languages, different uniforms and adds higher risk for friendly fire. The rest of the game is pretty solid. Sounds and effects are on-point, weapons handling seems - for the most part - realistic, and the UI does what it's supposed to do. I didn't encounter any obvious bugs or glitches with the exception of the sighting issue. I give it a 7 out of 10.
