Amazing game, deepens the meaning of what a game can be when you get the final ending.
Some pro tips without spoilers.
First: English Voice Over isnt "bad" but its like watching Anime with Pierce Brosnan as a voice actor, it just doesnt fit. Drop that, use Japanese VO with english subtitles. Will be much better that way.

Second: Dont look up anything regarding the game because theres alot of spoilers, even THE GAME spoils some moments for you if you wait too long in the start menu, its probably intended because they leave you hungry for more questions but some things are just better not known in advance.

Third: Dont overthink the games story and your actions too much, just play through it like you would any other game. Second playthrough you might wanna focus more on the sidequests. There are secrets but no branching storylines if you do things differently. It might seem like a spoiler for me to say it but it saves you alot of paranoia about the game and alot of time saving and reloading.

Fourth: Ive 100% (left fishing at 56%) the game and while i dont regret that, you dont have to do that. The game doesnt reward you with anything cool and you might have been fooled to think you need to do that.
If you have played Nier:Replicant, or even if you havent, finish all the weapon stories, you might have to look up where the some of the weapons are. Theres some treat for you when you do.

Fifth: The prologue is hard, especially when you first play the game, you might wanna play on normal if it gets on your nerves having to restart and watch unskippable cutscenes. The game doesnt have any unlocks or anything if you play on Easy, Normal, Hard or Very hard but your OWN EXPERIENCE.
The game is in the end an RPG so you can very easily, make the game too easy for you, if you focus too much on upgrades. ONLY upgrade yourself when you feel like the game is getting ridiculously hard and atleast try to play on hard difficulty. You will rob yourself of enjoyment if you make the game too easy. Playing through the prologue on normal is fine though, it is hard, especially the pain when you die.

If you havent had a game cause you to think about the meaning in life then this game will do that for you, its most likely going to be in your top 5 or 10 in games. You wont regret buying it unless somehow you dont get to the end...

- Game looks and feels like a cheap free2play game, goofy looking character animations with no sense of momentum.
- Why does every Animal rubberband 24/7 on a server with under 10 people on it?
- How is it possible to spawn inside someones base and get stuck on PvE mode?
- Sound quality is horrible generally, with VOIP sounding like you are inside of a bottle. No way to determine where the sounds are coming from.
- Game is over 100gb(!) but initial download to play was about 30gb, what is it doing with the rest of the space?
But hey your character poops (haha funny) and you can make your character look like something from a horror movie. And theres basebuilding... and dinosaurs that dont scare you at all because theyre literally EVERYWHERE.
