This is a must-have for those who enjoy combat flight simulators, it's simply brilliant. This version not only includes the first installment in the franchise, IL-2 Sturmovik, but also four additional content-laden expansion packs which adds on a wide variety of aircraft, maps, and missions. While the graphics are fairly outdated and are by no means impressive by today's standards, the sheer amount of content included in this installment truly makes up for this particular shortcoming. IL-2 Sturmovik: 1946 is also extremely modifiable and there are many comprehensive guides with instructions on how to install several of the popular mod packs in the community. 1946 never fails to draw me back despite owning the other installments in the IL-2 franchise.
