Easily the best new age version of Minesweeper I have played. Hexcells is wonderful... if you buy the newest one. The older two are so-so and the other games by the same dev are either bad or terrible. Tametsi on the other hand is fantastic. Truely guess free, and has an amazing difficulty scale. The game starts rather easy for those familiar with the concept of the game, and then slowly gets harder and harder. At some point, you will be hit with a puzzle that feels like it's impossible, but if you look around at the clues and really try to figure it out, you can. Hexcells never really felt like that for me. When I found a really hard puzzle in Hexcells, it's almost always because I needed to make some kind of 12D chess deduction or just get lucky with a guess. Buy Tametsi, it's awesome and has tons of levels. Very replayable too if you want.

Honestly, it's not worth the money. If you really, REALLY want to buy this go for the base version. The map isn't fun to drive around. The vehicles handle like ♥♥♥♥ no matter what. And you will literally just fall through the map if you lightly tap a wall during a drift. Oh, you also get to watch the minecraft chunks load in if you are in a fast enough car and hit a jump that goes high. There's two problems there though.
1. cars that go fast will literally just start lifting off the ground at high speeds so you can't really sustain the speed. That's if you can get to that speed in the first place. High speed cars light the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ tires until you hit 5th gear and even then, you will just slide. I feel like I'm always driving on ice, and if you give the car gas the game with decided that you don't need to turn as hard as you want to so it will cut your steering angle to about 30%.
2. Jumps... about half of them aren't even jumps but instead just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ledges that you fall off instead of jump. Not to mention so many of them have hideous run ups. The landing strip jump is amazing... if your car doesn't go into a back flip (Great physics engine btw) the moment you take off the shallow ass ramp.
Also, can someone explain the Mexico decision? This map is horrible and ugly af. Hands down the best part of this game is the mostly straight highway that runs from one side of the map to about the mid point. Other than that, nothing is really cool or pretty in this game. The speed traps are either jokes or in such bad spots they literally require you to off-road a super car and go through the camera in the air.
Drifting on the other hand can be insane. I found a tune for the Lancer Evo that literally can't drive 5 feet without drifting, so it's amazing for the drift stunts. I guess the icey Mexico terrain is good for that...

If you loved the old ice Forza used to be made on, don't give two ♥♥♥♥♥ about a nice atmosphere, enjoy the absolutely ridiculously unrealistic and stupid things the AI does with planes and other things, and/or just want a game to drive cars through the worst off road terrain in the world... then buy the cheapest version of this game. I swear those wheel spins have gotten so much worse too... why the ♥♥♥♥ am I getting womens clothing as a male character? I don't want ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ drag race my car while in drag...

This is an absolutely horrid DLC. There is nothing fun about this what so ever. If you like not being able to fight ANYTHING for 5 hours, like being dragged around for stupid ♥♥♥♥ for 5 hours, and just generally hate yourself... buy this DLC. If you like yourself, or in the very least don't want a reason to off yourself, avoid it like the plague. It's just a ♥♥♥♥ ton of walking around, and doing stupid ♥♥♥♥ non-stop until the end and what do you get for it? Nothing. I had about 700 groschen at the end of it but that's all Thresa's so it doesn't matter. You can't use most weapons, you can't equip any kind of armor, and will frequently have to either fight, or sneak around enemies which is stupidly hard. And don't even think about using the sneak attack from behind mechanic once you get into the night, it just doesn't work. This has to be one of the worst, more boring and difficult DLC I've ever played. Don't waste your money on this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ side story that tells you nothing and takes too long to complete.

The game is shockingly well made for an early access title. I have yet to find any bugs what so ever, and it's very enjoyable. Even though you are doing the same thing over and over, it always feels different. There's tons of stuff to do as well, and I can only see it getting more and more in-depth as the game goes on. Plus, some guy asked for a potion to "Rub on my sword" because he has been having some uh... bed time troubles.

This game is far better than CrossCells, but unlike the Hex series I feel as though there is some amount of guessing that is required. At times, many times even, there appears to be no clear cell to click, so you just have to wing it. I'm glad to see that the dark mode, as well as mistake penalties are back. If you want a good, square minesweeper-ish game with some extra flare then this is for sure a good game. I'm almost done with it at only about 2.5 hours, so it's not a long game by any means but it's still enjoyable. I don't see much worth in replaying it after you've beaten it once though unless you didn't get the perfect scores the first time through like I'm trying for. If you don't care about getting the perfects, then this could easily be pushed through in under an hour but what's the fun in that?

After about another hour I have 100% this game and I have to say, the guessing issue I mentioned earlier gets so much worse in the last string of puzzles. Another thing that I really don't like is how the later puzzles are mirrored patterns. I don't mind if you want to make a few cool looking solutions by making a design, but when you literally have to make a single 6x6 puzzle, and then just mirror it to make it bigger and "harder" to solve, that gets annoying and boring. Most of the late game puzzles are just that. Either mirrored vertically, horizontally, or on a 45 degree so and it's not hidden well at all. The first 20-25 levels are fun, but the last 10-15 are just annoying mirrors with guess and check as the only way to get what's going on.

At first it looked like this was going to be a fun challenge, but then the multiplication stages came on and I realized how annoying this was going to be. This isn't like the rest of the cells games where it's easy to logic out how everything works, nor how all of the mechanics are cleanly and easily shown to you. You are given the new mechanics, but have to totally figure out how they work by trial and error. In general, this game from about level 20 on is just tedious. It's not a fun challenge what so ever, just annoying as hell. And the issue doesn't come from a poor understanding of math either, I've been through 3 college level calculus classes so the math is easy, it's just the terrible way it's handled in this game. Another issue I have that there isn't an option (like in hexcells, hexcells plus, and hexcells infinite, all three which came out years priod) to make the back ground dark instead of light. This is probably the only thing that I actually want and would use night mode on, so it's sad to see that option has been neglected. I might end up finishing all of the levels just because I spent the money on the game, but these puzzles are filled with tedium not fun problem solving. Go buy the hexcells games if you want something enjoyable, and even then only buy infinite because those puzzles are really well done by comparison.

I would say this is for sure an improvement over Hexcells, but not much of one. In fact, some of the puzzles, though this game claims there is never any guessing required, do seem to demand a minor guess. There's logic to cover most of the spots but in 3 or 4 puzzles that logic only covers 4/6 options and you have to just wing it to get the correct one so it's a little annoying. Over all not a bad game. Even with playing Infinite and Hexcells before this, it still took me 5 hours to complete mostly thanks to the few hard puzzles that I mentioned seem to require some amount of guessing.

Disclaimer, I played infinite before this so I understood the mechanics. That being said, there really isn't any challenge to this game what so ever. Most of the levels are just "can you count" puzzles so that's all there is to this game. I guess if you want something to put a little time into this isn't bad, but it's not a hard game what so ever. The puzzles are grade school level to say the least.

I like this game quite a bit. It has a very fun challenge at times, but others it seems way too simple. In stark contrast to that, sometimes I just can't see the pattern that's there and I'm not sure if it's just me or something with the design.

The main 6 groups of puzzles are good and interesting but the infinite option is a joke. More frequently than not, the easy setting makes harder puzzles than the hard setting which is hilarious. The puzzles that it makes are also terrible. There's so little to them and almost no thought is required which I guess I can't really get mad about considering how many there are, but the infinite puzzles are still a joke.

If you want a unique minesweeper experience that will really only last you a few hours, this is your game. Worth the price for sure despite the issues I have with it.

I originally bought this on xbox when it came out because I had heard how much people had loved the past entries and I have to say, it didn't live up to the talk then, nor does it now. The same issues I had then I have now. The big one is just how weird the characters are/behave. The angles of their heads when they are talking to you is really strange and off-putting. Everyone is staring at the ground, and always has a resting face except for very few incidents. Not to mention, the interactions of this game don't feel like a modern development, but a game from the early 2000's instead. Graphically speaking on the non-enhanced version the game is very pretty and runs great. The combat isn't anything special and god the English voice acting is something else... and not in a good way. It honestly feels a bit like Dishonored (Which I hated playing) so that's probably why I don't like it. But even with that being taken out of the equation, it just feels like a game that was made by a novice company with only something like goat sim under their belt (then again, those people did put Satisfactory out so maybe I need a better example?). This game isn't that ground breaking or anything. Everything done here has been done so much better in so many different ways. I wanted to give it another try since I'm now on PC and generally like FPS RPG style games better here, but I still don't like playing it. I guess if you are a Metro fan and have been playing them since the first one came out, you will probably like this but it's just nothing special other than that. If you are on the fence and don't like the new generation of Bethesda games, then I would steer clear of Metro. I bought this on sale for $16, so at least I'm not out much if I decide to keep it. But this isn't a game I think I will put much more time than the 1 hour I have on it. Nothing about it is fun and so much is a turn off that I just hate playing it.
