You as well my friend.

I generally follow that mantra: avoid the forums (social media in general, really) to maintain my sanity and maintain a more healthy view of people in general. I think my time using the FFXVI forums was probably the most I've used a forum in years. I think the last time I used a Steam forum that much was back with the release of DOOM 2016...
Regardless, I hope you're doing well and have a happy holidays!

I'll play it. Might have to distance myself from forums to maintain my sanity.

(continued, due to character limit) There's a possibility that I could have still redeemed the items on Steam if I linked my Epic and Steam accounts, but I'd rather not take a chance or have to go through that ordeal.
Do you have any thoughts now that the system requirements are released? Regardless of how heavy the software might be, I'm still looking forward to it; I can't wait to play it in January!

Hey dude, I remember on the FFXVI forums we were speculating about the hardware requirements for FF7 Rebirth on PC. Now that the game is available for preorder and they've dropped the system requirements, we can fairly say we both were wrong... It's at least as VRAM heavy as FFXVI according to the system requirements, requiring 8 GB of VRAM for minimum and recommending 12 GB if you use a 4k panel.
It also requires RT hardware support and DX12 Ultimate for the full feature suite. It looks even heavier than FFXVI! People on older hardware are already complaining.
I still preordered my copy from the Epic store since I purchase Remake through Epic and I want to be able to benefit from my save in that game; apparently you can only access those bonus items if you use the "same account" for both games. I'd assume "same account" also means same storefront.
