I played this game years ago and put in a few hundred hours. I remember it being fast paced and yet tactical. It was a middle-point between Arma 3 and something Rainbow six. The gunplay and movement felt smooth and responsive.

I came back in May 2024 without realizing there was some sort of huge combat overhaul. The guns now feel extremely clunky. It takes 2-3 seconds to raise your scope and the recoil is absolutely ridiculous. The game is now a camp-fest and you will be punished for trying to sprint anywhere.

Movement in this game now feels terrible. It takes 4-5 seconds to mount over a 2-foot low wall. You will instantly die from crawling off a 8 foot high rooftop. The gunplay and movement are a major, major downgrade from the past version.
