This game is bad. It's extremely easy to get stuck in a way that is, effectively, "game over" but with no way to recover. Your raft get stuck on an island, and you can't get resources? Game over. There are virtually no quality of life features, such as bag/chest sorting. The gathering and maintenance of essential items is so time-consuming that it leaves no time to enjoy the world or relax. Trying to incorporate automation will just reveal or monotonous upkeep or other hazards, like seagulls eating your plants. Invest in a scarecrow? It's dead before you know it. Now you can't make a scarecrow because you need to make another fishing rod...This game is very poorly balanced. Too bad, because it could be really fun if it was balanced better with QoL adjustments. Difficult setting is Normal.

This game is incredible. Super fun survival game with great animation, compelling sci-fi plot, and very intutive, user-friendly interface. Playing with friends is a blast.

When reading a review, as the reader, you hope that the reviewer has a firm understanding of the game in question. Obviously, so they can provide you the best, most insightful information pertaining to a game's particular gaming experience. My review for The Division cannot fulfill this need. The reason is because The Division CRASHES or BUGS out CONSTANTLY. I'd love to reflect on hours of satisfying gameplay and pass along what makes this game fun, boring, or innovative to help you with your decision to buy or not buy. I say again, I cannot. I cannot because of the absolutely mind-numbingly insane amount of server crashing and in-game bug occurances.
