This game seems to have some quality of life enhancements over other games in the genre. I can say I have put my time into turn based combat games such as Omerta (which this game takes influence from), X-COM, Divinity 1,2&3(BG3), Falling Skies, FF Tactics, Battletech, Front Mission, BSG:Deadlock, others I forget....
The list goes on and on.

The game might not be as polished as some of the titles I mentioned above but I think the combat has some flare that the others don't and I enjoy running my own Empire.
