This is overall, a good game that I've played at least since 2013. Low tier vehicles are fun and relatively well-balanced. There is very little balancing past tier two and the game becomes an American stomp-fest at Tier 3 and higher. The higher you go, the worse that becomes. Other nations aren't that bad to fight against and are relatively well-balanced but America either needs serious re-balancing by up-tiering their vehicles for both ground and air combat or other axis nations (particularly Germany) need to be down-tiered by at least 0.7 battle rating for everything past 5.7. Germany is the last nation to get modern ammo types for ground vehicles and consistently fights allied tanks that have modern ammo when you're still using late WWII technology and designs such as the King Tiger. So you have slow, heavy, and expensive vehicles fighting cheap, light, and fast vehicles that have modern ammo. That means your only advantage (armor) becomes absolutely worthless and is more of a detriment than being helpful. Overall, planes at 6.0+ and tanks at 7.0+ are just an American circle-jerk where you can do absolutely nothing to compete unless you are using their own planes against them or they all suicide at the beginning of the match. I'm trying to be generous with the previously listed BR wall for tanks and planes.

Overall, if you want a game where the simulation is great, then get the game. If you want a game you can play with tons of people and you have a wide variety of vehicles and nations, then get the game. If you want a well-balanced game, then play only 6.0 BR and below. If you want a great looking game, then get it. If you want a game where the developers properly listen to the community and try to implement balancing changes because one nation is extremely overpowered (America), then don't bother. If you want a game to play modern vehicles in, then don't bother unless you want to play as America and have no desire for a challenge. Countries that are bad at low tier: Italy and France (they get better at mid-tier). It is relatively well-balanced mid-tier because the vehicles designs for each country start to get better (not the fault of gaijin). For high-tier there is no competing with America in either tanks or planes. If you want a game to have fun with, then you should stick to low-mid-tier gameplay. If you want a game where you can boost your ego and have no desire for a challenge then buy the Abrams series and play high-tier.

Overall balancing: 5/10. Simulation quality and realism: 9/10. Gameplay variety and objective balancing for various nations: 6/10 (would be higher but tank battles have two "different" modes i.e. king of the hill or 3-point domination but air battles are a bit better). Map design, variety, and balance: 7/10 (decent variety of maps, but 1/3 of the maps are heavily in favor of the allies in ground vehicles but most of the maps are gorgeous and have a good variety of places to go in them). Total score: 7/10. Please fix the game Gaijin. I think I speak for most of the community when I say that right now, we would HIGHLY prefer if you fix the existing balancing issues instead of adding new stuff and if you would fix the repair costs for everything because currently there is almost no reason for half the vehicles to have the repair cost they do. I would suggest if you want to make some vehicles have absurdly high repair costs, then those vehicles should be prototypes instead of regular vehicles. Speaking of prototypes, I call ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ for saying that the reason for removing the Maus, Tiger 10.5cm, Panther II, and Coelian was because they were prototypes when you have many other vehicles that only really existed in the prototype stage already in the game and you immediately added other prototypes to replace the prototypes that you removed for being prototypes. Either remove all the prototypes (the only exception to that being Italian or Japanese ground vehicles because they would have a very empty or even more repetitive tech tree if all their prototypes were removed) or add them back in. I really want this to be a great game, but unfortunately, it is only a pretty decent game right now. Years ago, I would've given it a 9/10, but sadly it has degenerated to this point and much of the community has abandoned the game, including people that have spent hundreds of dollars and thousands of hours on the game.

I've debated the design of the game, how it has progressed and regressed through the years, and how you could fix it through balancing and other methods with many different people in-depth and have many thoughts and ideas on how you could fix it in the short and long-term through more and less labor-intensive methods. I would love to provide feedback and ideas to you Gaijin if you would listen and seriously consider them, no matter how long it would take to express them.
